See who's running and when to vote in the West Hempstead and Lakview elections.
Residents in the Lakeview and West Hempstead Fire Districts can vote today, Dec. 11, in the fire commissioner elections.
In Lakeview, long-time Commissioner Fred "Sandy" Senti is running unopposed. But in West Hempstead, there's a race as Commissioner Sue Scognamiglio faces a challenge from EMT Avi Rosman.Â

Polls will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lakeview and West Hempstead fire houses, which are located at 891 Woodfield Rd. and 295 Hempstead Tpke., respectively.
