While he praised Shake Shack, Cheban said “you end up paying $17 for a meal, which I think is expensive.” according to the report. “I really want everyone to be able to get a burger if they have $2.50.”
Cheban, who has worked in public relations and most recently launched a lifestyle and entertainment site called The Dishh, said the Lynbrook location will hopefully be the start of a global chain with branches as far as Dubai, according to People.
Whatever the future holds, he reportedly has the support of his fellow reality star, Kim Kardashian.
“I’m really proud of him,” said Kardashian, according to WSJ. “I love it when people do entrepreneurial kinds of things.”
Cheban grew up in New Jersey and after graduating high school in 1991, majored in communications at Hofstra University. He appeared in the Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, which filmed this summer in the Hamptons.
