Lynbrook Diner Unexpectedly Closes After 90 Years
The diner was a fixture in the community. How do you feel about its sudden closure?

The Lynbrook Diner, which has been serving food in the village for 90 years, unexpectedly closed its doors on Tuesday.
A notice posted at the diner said that the restaurant had been sold, but did not specify to whom. The owners, the Mavromihalis family, said they wanted to keep the restaurant open longer, but "unforseen factors" forced them to close.
The Lynbrook Diner has been open since 1929, and run by the Mavromihalis family since 1985.
