Lynbrook Fire Department Receives Grant for New Equipment

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray recently joined New York American Water President Bill Varley and Vice President of Operations Brian Bruce to present a grant check to the Lynbrook Fire Department. 

Accepting the $1,000 check on behalf of the Lynbrook Fire Department was Chief Edward Hynes. The grant, provided by New York American Water, will help provide the volunteer department with potentially life-saving fire equipment.
