LYNBROOK, NY — The Lynbrook Council of PTAs has continued its annual tradition of honoring several individuals who have made a difference in the Lynbrook schools and community this year.

They recently announced 16 award recipients for Founders’ Day, an annual celebration that recognizes the founding of the National Congress of Mothers, the precursor to the modern PTA.

Members of the Lynbrook Council of PTAs hope to officially commend the 2021 honorees for their positive contributions at an event at a later date when it is safe to do so.
