Malverne School Budget Passes
The votes are in for the district's 2020-21 budget. See how it fared in your community.
MALVERNE, NY — The results are in, and the Long Beach School District's budget passed.
The vote was 1,010 to 509 in favor of the spending plan.
Voters also approved a proposition to create a capital reserve fund for the district, 1,153 to 353.

Board of Education Trustee Jeanne D'Esposito also ran unopposed, and received 1,331 votes.
All of the votes were cast by absentee ballot this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
