Malverne to Host Parent Academy for K-12

Malverne School District would like to invite all parents and guardians of school-aged children to attend an interactive and informative parent academy on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Malverne High School cafeteria. 

Titled “Break Through the Cloud of Common Core to Be College and Career Ready,” topics will include:

·      K-12 Common Core ELA and math

·      Assessments

·      Parent portal

·      Learning standards

·      K-12 SAT initiative

·      AP classes

·      College applications

Coffee and snacks will be served at the event, which will benefit all parents, grades K-12.
