FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — A Nassau man was arrested Monday afternoon after police say he got into a fight with a bus driver over a mask and fare, and then attacked him.

According to police, a 48-year-old man who was driving a NICE bus picked up a man and woman at the intersection of Monroe Street and Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square at 1:45 p.m. The man got onto the bus without wearing a mask or paying the fare, police said.
