Nassau Man Robbed Teen At Knifepoint: Police
Police say he held a knife to the teen's throat as he robbed him.

ELMONT, NY — An Elmont man was arrested Tuesday night after Nassau County police say he robbed a teen at knifepoint.
According to police, an 18-year-old man used social media to arrange a meeting with Rocco Franklyn, 2o, of Caroline Avenue, Elmont. When the man arrived, Franklyn got into his car. Police say Franklyn pulled out a knife and held it to the man's neck, and then stole the man's cell phone, a disposable vape, cash and a substance believed to be marijuana. Police say Franklyn then fled the scene.
He was located a short time later by police and placed under arrest.

Franklyn is charged with first-degree robbery and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
