Nassau PD: DWI Arrests in West Hempstead, East Rockaway
A rundown of arrests and crimes reported in the Fourth Precinct.

Arrests
On June 29 at 3:50 a.m., James Smith, 49, of Island Park, was arrested for DWI on Atlantic Avenue near Carman Avenue in East Rockaway.

On June 29 at 10:30 p.m., Christopher Lampert, 25, of East Rockaway, was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Avenue near McKinley Street in West Hempstead.
On July 1 at 12:30 p.m., Michael Rayas, 28, of Hempstead, was arrested for shoplifting at National Wholesale Liquidators, located at 1111 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.

On July 1 at 6:30 p.m., Joseph Muscato, 23, of West Hempstead, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law on Hempstead Turnpike near Sewanee Avenue in Elmont.
Case Reports
Between 12 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on June 26, an unknown suspect(s) stole cash and a debit card from the complainant's 2007 white Chevy Impala parked on Gardenia Street in West Hempstead.
Between 9 p.m. on June 26 and 7 a.m. on June 27, an unknown suspect(s) stole a cell phone and cash from the complainant's 2013 white Ford parked on Center Drive in Franklin Square.
Between 5 p.m. on June 26 and 6 a.m. on June 27, a pocketbook and two pairs of glasses were stolen from the complainant's 2003 black Volkswagen Beetle parked on Collins Lane in West Hempstead.
Between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on June 29, an unknown person(s) broke a window of the complainant's 2009 gray Honda at Hempstead Avenue and Hempstead Gardens Drive in West Hempstead.
Between 3:45 p.m. and 4:28 p.m. on July 1, an unknown suspect(s) stole the hubcaps from the complainant's 2012 tan Volkswagen at Plainfield Avenue and Center Avenue in East Rockaway.
On July 1 at 5:55 p.m., the complainant discovered her iPhone missing from where she left it on the counter at Clean Scene Laundromat, located at 529 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
