Nassau PD: 8 DWI Arrests, 5 on Hempstead Turnpike
A rundown of arrests and crimes reported in the Fourth Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.
Arrests
- On May 24 at 12:30 a.m., Stephanie Ciantro, 29, of Lynbrook, was arrested for DWI on Dubois Avenue near Cochran Place in Valley Stream.
- On May 25 at 4 a.m., Joseph Rapoza-Brendin, 20, of Uniondale, was arrested for DWI  on Hempstead Turnpike near Mayfair Avenue in West Hemsptead.
- On May 26 at 3:30 a.m., Brandon Molina, 21, of Bayside, was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Turnpike near Westminster Road in West Hempstead.
- On May 27 at 12:50 a.m., Preston Freeman, 44, of Lynbrook was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Turnpike near Nassau Boulevard in West Hempstead.
- On May 27 at 2:39 a.m., Reny Cherian, 22, of Elmont, was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square.
- On May 27 at 4:25 a.m., Emilio Jose Tavarez, 20, of Copiague, was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
- On May 27 at 3:23 p.m., Mark Mastauskas, 41, of Franklin Square, was arrested for DWI on 1st Street in Bay Park.
- On May 28 at 4:36 a.m., Ghani Smith, 49, of St Albans, was arrested for DWI on Franklin Avenue near Gavrin Boulevard in Franklin Square.
- On May 28 at 3:45 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke the driver's side window on a vehicle, which was parked on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
