An Oceanside man died Friday morning after his car struck a tree on Waverly Avenue in East Rockaway.
According to police, the crash occurred at 1:20 a.m., Scott Epstein, 64, was driving westbound on Main Street when he struck the tree.
A Nassau County EMT pronounced Epstein dead at the scene.
