Pair Attacked Man After Argument Escalated To Violence: Nassau PD
Police say the man slashed another, causing cuts to his arm and face. Police are still looking for another suspect.

FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — An argument ended in violence on Tuesday, and now one person has been arrested and police are looking for a second.
According to Nassau County police, a 48-year-old man who lived on Doris Avenue in Franklin Square saw a car driving up and down the block. The man confronted the two people in the car, asking them what their business was in the area.
Police say the woman in the passenger seat, who has not yet been arrested, got into an argument with the man. The man took out his phone to call 911, but police say the woman took it and smashed it on the ground.

The driver of the car — Aaron Conrad, 33, of New Haven Avenue, Far Rockaway — then got out of the car, police said, and slashed the man with a sharp object, causing cuts to his face and arm. Conrad and the woman then got back into the car and fled, police said. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he required multiple stitches to close his wounds.
Police say an investigation led to the identification of Conrad. He surrendered himself to officers at the Fifth Precinct on Jan. 7. He was charged with first-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned on Jan. 7 and ordered held on $20,000 cash bail, which was not posted, according to court documents.
