Powerball Jackpot Tops $300 Million
Saturday's drawing could put a local resident in the money.
The lines for lottery tickets around Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook could be long as the Powerball jackpot sits at $320 million as of Friday, and could grow.
According to Newsday, lottery officials said as more tickets are sold the jackpot increases. As of Friday morning, a winning ticket would have a cash payout of $198.3 million, according to powerball.com.
