Several Unregistered Guns Found In Pickup Truck: Nassau Police

Officers also discovered several grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms on the pickup truck, which was illegally parked in Franklin Square.

FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — A man and woman are facing multiple charges for having unregistered guns in a pickup truck, Nassau police said.

Their 2020 Toyota Tacoma was parked in front of a fire hydrant on Franklin Street in Franklin Square at 10:45 p.m. Wednedsday when officers investigated further, detectives said.

Three unregistered, loaded firearms were recovered by police:

They also removed a large polymer pistol frame used to build a gun from scratch, police said in a news release.

More than six grams of hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms were also recovered by officers.

Anthony Cinelli, 26, of Miller Place, and Marina Rubio, 26, of Farmingdale, were due to be arraigned Thursday.

Cinelli is facing 15 counts, including fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (three counts) and unlawful possession large capacity ammunition feeding (two counts).

Rubio was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
