United Ink Tattoo Show is This Weekend

Festival set for this weekend at the Cradle of Aviation to bring hundreds of tattoo artists, musicians, and painters to the area.

Hundreds of tattoo artists, musicians, and others will gather at the Cradle of Aviation this weekend as the United Ink Flight 94 Tattoo, Art, and Music Festival.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 250 of the world’s best tattoo artists will set up shop at 150 booths at the Garden CIty museum.

Confirmed artists attending include Master Mike, Myke Chambers, Cris Gherman, Jose Perez, China’s Zhang Po, and Japan’s Traditional Japanese Tebori. These artists will join the others invited to work the festival and give tattoos and piercings on the spot. Tattoo reality show stars will also join the party, like Big Gus and Jasmine Rodriguez from Tattoo Nightmares, Joey Tattoo from Tattoo Rescue, and current and former Inkmasters like Halo, Lydia Bruno, Al fliction, Jayvo Scott, Sarah Miller, and more.

Joining the artists are local musicians, painters, and clothing and jewelry crafters.

Kids can join in the artistry with face painting, airbrush tattoos, coloring, a flash art contest, and more.

The work of renowned painters, like 82-year-old student of Salvador Dali Francisco Poblet, will also be on display.

Music from the likes of All Music’s Rock N Roll University All Stars and The Royal Guard will entertain the crowds.

Admission is $22 for adults and $12 for children ages 2-12. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Cradle of Aviation box office or online here. The festival will run from 2-11 p.m. Friday, 12-11 p.m. Saturday, and 12-7 p.m. Sunday.
