Mayor Corbett and the Village Board are happy to restore the park along the train station on Hempstead Avenue at no costs to the Village taxpayer. Expanding upon the Village's first annual Pediatric Cancer Awareness month, in June 2020, the Mary Ruchalski Foundation has generously assisted with the replacement of diseased and compromised greenery at the Park. At this years second Annual Malverne Pediatric Cancer Awareness month, in September, the fountain will once again be gold and brand new and improved landscaping will be available to be enjoyed by residents for years to come.
