Village Of Malverne: Updated Tree Policy

Mayor Corbett enacted an enhanced Village-wide tree policy in July of 2019 to ensure that for any trees removed in Malverne, an acceptable tree is replanted. Our Village Arborist identified 9 species of trees that will provide a canopy without disturbing sidewalks and interfering with power lines. Under this new tree policy, Malverne has planted more trees in the past year than any other year on record.
