The West Hempstead PTSA will be hosting a book fair at the Carle Place Barnes & Noble on April 4 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Story time, crafts, a scavenger hunt and a glow nook raffle will be held. Kids can also meet members of the high school's "Athletes Helping Athletes" as they encourage reading for academic excellence.
Art created by West Hempstead students will be on display for public viewing.

Parents can enjoy coffee and dessert while being served by special guest Dan Rehman, principal of West Hemsptead High School.
A portion of the profits from the event will go to the WHPTSA.
