Change…

No one likes it, but it is inevitable, woven into the very fabric of life.

However, humans are the only species roused with contention and resistance to its onward motion and perceived stigmas and maladies.

Foliage changes color, and falls upon the ground adding to the debris that accumulates for the next round of recycling and refurbishing.

It’s a continuous cycle of rebirth, that is palpable in the overt transitions of earthly existence. Seasons change, vegetation grows, peaks, and withers, as do humans.

There is nothing static about life.

Many will be fortunate to reach the milestone of ripe old age, bearing witness to the never-ending alterations, and with reflection can comprehend an All-Knowing orchestration with each stirring and passing.

The issue isn’t necessarily the change, it’s how one perceives and assimilates it, and the subjective value assigned to it.

All of nature has a consciousness, with man’s being more complex and integrated. These notable attributes swing both ways by allowing for analysis and even condemnation.

Nowadays, it is a stigma to grow old, be old, look old, and the fear of death solidifies the narrative surrounding ageism.

Some will do everything in their power to slow down and modify signs of aging even at extreme costs, while trees and flowers do not fear or worry. They simply are, and are joyful with that alone. They are aware of their part in all of creation, a piece, that matters, and will move on. They cooperate and acquiesce. No demands or frets, only jubilation.

We resist, but it is futile, and only causes stress. The body and life’s circumstances will transform, but your Soul, when in alignment with God, is the true constant we seek.
