1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Southern State Parkway Crash
Reports say a car crashed into an overpass and caught fire; one person was killed.
NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY — A car crash on the Southern State Parkway Wednesday morning left one driver dead and another injured.
According to New York State Police, the two-car crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. on the westbound Southern State Parkway near Exit 31 for the Bethpage State Parkway in North Massapequa.
Police did not release details on what caused the crash or identify the drivers.
