A Guide To Some Of Long Island's Best Halloween Houses
Check out our growing list of the best-decorated homes on Long Island, and then take a trip to see them for yourself.

Homeowners on Long Island love decorating their houses for the holidays. While some are all about the glitz and lights of the Christmas season, others go all-in on creating spook-tacular displays for Halloween.
We've collected some of the best (and creepiest) displays in one place, so you could know where to go if you want to take in the sights this October.
But this, of course, isn't a complete list! There are plenty of houses that haven't been mentioned here. If you want your house added to the list so people can come visit, send a picture and a brief description of your decorations to alex.costello@patch.com.

One of the highlights is Westbury Field of Screams, a private haunt located in Westbury. Laura and Zack Restivo have been creating this spooky walk for almost a decade. Walking through their haunt takes about 20 minutes, and is filled with rooms themed around clowns, zombies and more. They even have live actors on Halloween.
The Westbury Field of Screams is open on Oct. 29, 30 and 31 from 6 to 11 p.m.
