Happy Mother’s Day From Hannah And Matthew Oweis

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is twins Hannah and Matthew Oweis's letters to their mom:

My name is Hannah Oweis, and I live in Massapequa, New York. Mother’s Day is all about moms, so it is all about you, Mom! You are so special to me because you take care of me. You’re also sweet, caring, smart and loving to me. I think it is great that moms have their own special holiday because they work so hard to keep their kids safe!

My mom is also special because she comes to all sports, even when the day is crazy between three sports. When my brother and I both had a soccer game at the same time, my mom would switch between games at halftime so she could see both of us play.

She also lets my brother and I have more than one junk food even though we’re only allowed to have one. My mom is smart because she helps me with my homework. Happy Mother’s Day.
