Honoring Vets and Football Playoff This Week

This week we honor those who serve and we cheer on Massapequa as they advnce in the football playoffs.

Here's a look ahead:

Veterans Day: On Monday we honor those who served in our armed forces. Patch will give all the details about what you need to know about the holiday including a ceremony in Massapequa.

Football: The Massapequa Chiefs have advanced to the Nassau County Conference I semifinals Saturday night at Hofstra. They will take on Oceanside.

Town Board: The Oyster Bay Town Board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. at town Hall, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.

Library Board: The Massapequa Library Board will hold a meeting at the Bar Harbour Library at 7:45 p.m.

Preserve: Friends of the Massapequa Preserve holds their annual meeting  Thursday at Bar Harbour starting at 7:30 p.m.
