I Hear You

I hear you, but age allows some privileges so here are mine:

I DON’T CARE about

Other people’s sex or sexless lives

Self-Published pictures of nudity and/or near nudity

Long repressed memories of sexual abuse suddenly recalled by either sex

Sermons from celebrities or wanna be celebrities about political views

Sermons in general about what I should believe or do or think

Media advice on what news I should read

Or which TV channels I should watch

Refusals to admit reality of sexual abuse by clergy

Weekly pictures of growing baby bumps

Unsolicited public admissions of past sexual activity

Endless negative discussion of white males

Repetitious vocal tirades by politicians both male and female

Hysterical outbursts by prominent women

Political ridicule of others by late night hosts

The once funny SNL becoming a source of cruel humor

Books, movies, television programs containing political opinions and/or propaganada

And last but not least, the abundance of self righteous politicians, celebrities, and media personalities who for some vague reason believe they have the self ordained right to tell other less famous citizens how to think, believe and vote.
