Long Island Weather: Another Hot Week In Store For The Area
Temperatures are going to be high again, although the heatwave should break mid-week.

LONG ISLAND, NY — The Island is in for another hot week, although it won't be quite as scorching as last week. Temperatures for most of the week will be in the upper 80s, and there's a thunderstorm on the way, too.
Monday and Tuesday are the hottest days of the week, with temperatures over 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. But thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening will help break the heat.
The rest of the week is forecasted to be sunny, with highs around 88 degrees.
