Long Island Weather: Warm, Clear Start To Fall
The first week of fall is looking to be a beautiful one for Long Island, with clear, sunny skies and warm temperatures.

LONG ISLAND, NY — This is the first week of autumn, but you're not going to have to break out the jackets and scarves just yet. Though Monday is a bit chilly, the first first week of fall looks to be a warm one.
According to the National Weather Service, after a bit of a chilly start, temperatures are going to be in the 70s for the rest of the week, and in the high 70s for the end of the week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are all going to have high temperatures between 75 and 77 degrees.
The nights are going to be cool and crisp, with lows in the 60s.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 71. North wind 9 to 14 mph.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 57. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 77. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph.
Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 62.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
