Long Island Weather: Warm And Sunny Weekend, But Cold Nights
Lots of people are going to be staying home this weekend. The weather will be great for spending some time outside with the family.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A rainy Friday is going to give way to a clear and sunny weekend, which will be good weather for anyone who wants to spend some time outside while isolating themselves this weekend.
A thunderstorm could hit the Island tonight, the National Weather Service said. But after that, Long Island is going to have clear skies, sun and mild temperatures for the weekend. Except for Saturday night, which will be pretty cold.
Unfortunately, that weather doesn't seem like it will carry through into the start of next week. Monday will most likely bring the rain back.
