Long Island Weather: Warm Week Ahead For The Area
Long Island is going to see an unusually warm week, with highs in the 70s for much of the time.

LONG ISLAND, NY — It may be the middle of October, but it's not going to feel like it this week. The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures this week above the average, which will make it feel more like September than October.
According to the NWS, the highs for most of the week will be in the low 70s. Highs will be in the upper 60s on Monday and Friday. There's a small chance of rain on Tuesday and into early Wednesday, but other than that, the rest of the week should be sunny.
