Long-Range LI Weather: Warm Temps Likely To Continue Into March
The Weather Channel says we could be seeing above-average temperatures for much of March, with some cold spells throughout.

The Weather Channel has released a long-range look at temperatures in March, and things are looking a little warm for Long Island.
According to the Weather Channel, a polar vortex over the central United States will, ironically, drive warmer weather our way. It is predicting near-average or slightly above-average temperatures for the Northeast, including Long Island.
The warmer weather could mean highs in the 40s or 50s for parts of the month.
