Massapequa Security Firm Gets NYC Investment Backing: Report

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Massapequa-based IntraLogic Solutions, a provider of security technology, is set to expand its operation after landing a deal with the private New York City equity firm, Post Capital Partners, according to Long Island Business News. The terms of the agreement have not yet been disclosed, but Lee Mandel, IntraLogic's founder and CEO will stay on in the same position.

IntraLogic had already expanded its operation to Florida and Arizona before their newest partnership with Post Capital Partners.

"Our approach has redefined security technology when safety and control matter most. We meet the challenges of constantly evolving threats by blending cutting-edge technology with best practices and dedications," it reads on the company's website.

The partnership will allow IntraLogic to expand its client base for its school security products and software, according to a company statement. The company provides such services as alarm monitoring, panic monitoring, fire monitoring, camera monitoring, and its security solutions are also designed for shopping malls, hospitals, religious institutions and movie theaters.

"We are thrilled to partner with Lee Mandel and IntraLogic Solutions," Michael Pfeffer, managing director of Post Capital, told Long Island Business News. "Lee has done a tremendous job of developing advanced technology and software which has allowed ILS to grow quickly over the years and to fulfill a large security void within these institutions."
