Massapequa Students Pen Letters To Frontline Workers
Students at Lockhart Elementary School wrote letters to dozens of frontline workers thanking them for all their hard work.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Partnering with the Town of Oyster Bay, students at Lockhart Elementary School in the Massapequa School District wrote letters to frontline workers including doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who have helped in the fight against COVID-19.
Lockhart students wrote more than 175 letters for the Healthcare Hero Recognition Program, which were then distributed to healthcare facilities including hospitals and nursing homes during National Public Health Week.
