Massapequa's Bar Louie Closes Without Notice
The closure comes as the restaurant files for bankruptcy and is shuttering locations around the country.

Bar Louie, one of a chain of gastropub-style restaurants, closed its location in the Sunrise Mall unexpectedly.
The restaurant closed suddenly, and even still has upcoming events listed on its website. The closure comes as the Bar Louie company filed for bankruptcy and closed 38 locations across the country, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Massapequa location opened in the Sunrise Mall in 2017. The menu featured modern bar food, as well as lots of cocktails and beers.

There was another Bar Louie location in Commack, but that closed last year, Newsday reported.
According to the Bar Louie website, and Long Islanders who are really craving their food and drinks will have to go to the nearest location in Paramus, New Jersey.
