Even though the outer world can appear foreign and frightful, it does not mean we must acquiesce, bear arms, or swim in the overwhelm. There have been some mishaps, disappointments, and tragedies, but we are strong, and the calendar and nip in the air indicate it’s Christmas – a time of hope, and prophetic fulfillment on a grand scale.

The inky skies set up a foreboding pretense, but positive signs are everywhere, with the external world aglow with twinkling lights, candlesticks, and illuminated figures ushering in a proclamation of peace and joy.
These smaller incandescent vessels radiate the path for the true Light of the world, Jesus Christ, through which The Lord on High birthed Himself. Are you prepared?
Plans maybe altered with Mass on hold or restricted due to mandates, but that does not justify abandoning traditions and festivities. This could even be the chance to manufacture some new ones. Rethink, recycle, re-establish, or add to your collection of holiday enjoyment.
God has your back, and all of heaven stands behind Him. This is the season of Light, which is appropriately situated during the darkest period in the northeast. Perhaps it is the impetus for us to Shine like all the lights on display. If what surrounds you is overbearing, turn inward, and connect with the stillness.
