Nassau Officers Help Woman Deliver Baby Girl
As the officers arrived to check on a woman in labor, the baby started coming. So they sprang into action to help.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Two Nassau County police officers helped a woman unexpectedly deliver a baby in her home Tuesday afternoon.
Officers Lamonica and Acerra were dispatched to a home on Boston Avenue at 12:26 p.m. to help a 28-year-old woman who had go into labor. As the officers arrived to see how the woman was doing, she started to deliver the baby.
The officers sprang into action to help. Within two minutes, the woman had given birth to a healthy baby girl.

A few minutes later, Police Medics Chang and Gadowski arrived and took the family to a hospital for routine evaluation.
