NASSAU COUNTY, NY — NICE Bus, Nassau County's public transportation service, is advising riders to expect service delays and detours Monday morning through Tuesday because of the forecasted snow storm.

Heavy snow and high winds are predicted to create low visibility and dangerous road conditions. As a result, NICE Bus anticipates delays and possible detours and/or service suspensions. Routes servicing the North Shore have been historically detoured or suspended due to road closures. As always, passenger and employee safety will remain the top priority for NICE Bus.

Riders are encouraged to check with NICE Bus during and after the storm for service changes. Updates are posted on the NICE Bus website, the GoMobile app alerts, and Transit App. Updates are also be available on NICE Bus social media at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
