Southern State Parkway Crash Forces Lane Closure

NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY — A two-car crash on the eastbound side of Southern State Parkway in North Massapequa forced the right lane and shoulder to close briefly Monday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation. The crash happened around 10 a.m. near Exit 29 at Hicksville Road.

A black Honda and black Toyota were involved in the crash, state police told Patch. No one was hurt. The cars were moved to the shoulder to allow traffic to pass.
