MASSAPEQUA, NY — If you purchased a lotto ticket recently, make sure you check it. According to the New York Lottery, one person from the area is nearly $60,000 richer. A top-prize ticket for the the May 10 TAKE 5 drawing was sold in Massapequa.
The New York Lottery says the winning ticket was sold at Laxmi Vape & Smoke Shop, located at 4127 Merrick Road in Massapequa. The ticket is worth $58,519.50.
Winnings may be claimed up to one year after the date of the drawing.
