Westfield Sunrise Mall Returning To Its Original Name

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Westfield Sunrise shopping center is going back to its roots. The mall will soon be going by its original name again: The Sunrise Mall.

The mall had its name changed when it was purchased by Westfield in 2005. The shopping center is still owned by Westfield. The name change will become official on signage later this year.

“We are excited to be restoring Sunrise Mall’s original name as we continue to look to the future and how the center can best serve the community,” said Noe Dileo, general manager of Sunrise Mall. “During this time, our continued focus is on the reopening of the center while ensuring the health and safety of our customers, tenants and the community.”
