What's open on Christmas Day? Many services are not available, so be sure to factor that into your holiday plans. Here's this year's rundown:

• Government offices are closed on this holiday and there will be no mail delivery from the U.S. Post Office.
• There is also no UPS or FedEx pickup or delivery, with limited service on Christmas Eve.
• Public libraries and schools are closed.
• Banks are closed.

If you need to buy another essential ingredient for your holiday dinner, don't panic. Although Shop Rite, Hannaford, Aldi, Price Chopper, Trader Joe's, Costco, Whole Foods, Hannaford, Key Food, Target and Walmart stores will be closed on Christmas Day, you can still pick up a few staples at 7-Eleven stores. Some CVS pharmacies will also be open.
