Backpacks filled with school supplies for Patchogue-Medford students in need were donated as part of the Patchogue Lions Club and Patchogue-Medford Congress of Teachers organizations' annual collection.
The supplies were presented earlier this month from both organizations to Superintendent Michael Locantore at the school district administration building on South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue.
