Driver, Passenger Escape Overturned Car in Farmingville
Transported to hospital with injuries Tuesday evening.
A driver and passengers in an overturned motor vehicle were able to escape after hitting a parked car in Farmingville on Tuesday evening.
According to the Farmingville Fire Department, witnesses said a vehicle was driving on Woodycrest Drive when it struck a park vehicle and overturned onto the road in the residential neighborhood at about 8 p.m.. Upon the fire department’s arrival at the accident scene, 1st Commanding Chief Dave Smith found the passengers, a man and a woman, had self-extricated themselves from the overturned vehicle.
The vehicle was secured by rescue workers and multiple passengers were injured and transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
