Failed Bank Robber Wanted By Police
Police are asking for the public's help identifying man in these photos.
Suffolk County Police Major Case detectives, along with the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, are asking for the public's help in their investigation into an attempted robbery at a Medford Chase Bank located at 2271 Route 112 on June 22 around 5 p.m.
The police are trying to identify and find the man pictured above who they believe committed the crime. According to the police report, he wore a stocking over his head, walked up to a teller and put a plastic bag on the counter. He demanded money from the teller, who backed away from the counter.
The attempted robber quickly ran away, having not obtained any money from the bank.

Anyone with information about this individual, or this incident, can call the confidential police tip line at 1-800-220-TIPS. The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offer a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
