Free Living Healthy with Diabetes Workshops in Coram
Free six-workshop series for those in Coram living with diabetes and their loved ones.
HRHCare Community Health will be presenting a free Living Healthy with Diabetes workshop series at the Elsie Owens Health Center in Coram starting Monday, April 3rd. This free, six-week education program will help people living with diabetes to:
- Find practical ways to deal with pain and fatigue
- Discover better food and exercise choices
- Understand new treatment options
- Learn better ways to talk about health with care providers and loved ones
- Gain real-life skills for living a full and healthy life
The Living Healthy with Diabetes workshops will be held every Monday from April 3rd to May 8th between 1 and 3:30 PM. All participants who attend four or more classes will have the chance to receive a $25 gift card!
