This month, Long Island Road Warriors Magazine, a new trade publication from the Long Island Contractors’ Association (LICA) proudly features a well-known community servant and “celebrity” – Patchogue Village Mayor, Paul Pontieri. The Mayor not only graces the cover of the magazine, but also serves as the subject of the lead story in this Summer issue which highlights economic development on Long Island. Pontieri was recognized for his work in revitalizing Patchogue Village resulting from years of dedicated, smart and successful economic development and planning. His story - “Connected”- shines a light of a more personal nature on the Mayor, which may explain why he has been so successful in his efforts.
