Man Arrested After Stabbing at Long Island Home
A 35-year-old man who was stabbed with a kitchen knife is in critical condition, police say.

MEDFORD, NY – A 30-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed an an acquaintance during a dispute at a Long Island home Sunday morning, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Sixth Precinct officers responded to Stony Brook University Hospital after emergency room personnel called 911 to report that a victim of violence had been brought to the hospital around 4:40 a.m.
An investigation by detectives determined that two men, Michael Connors and Miles Connors, of no relation, were involved in a fight at Michael Connors's home located at 41 Hagerman Ave. in Medford. Michael Connors used a kitchen knife to stab 35-year-old Miles Connors, police said.

Miles Connors, of Holbrook, was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. He was listed in critical condition.
Michael Connors was arrested and charged with second degree assault. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
