Man Robs Suffolk Gas Station at Gunpoint [Video]

Police have released surveillance footage of the robbery that occurred Friday. Police are asking for the public's help to find the robber.

A man robbed a Suffolk County gas station at gunpoint Friday night and police are asking for the public's help to find him.

Suffolk Police say a man entered a Shell gas station located at 482 Sills Road in Yaphank at about 10:55 p.m. He displayed a black and silver handgun and demanded cash and Newport cigarettes from an employee at the counter.

The robber is described as a thin black man, wearing a red and black mask, black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. The case may be related to other ongoing investigations, police say.
