They are topical in content, having covered homecoming, school sports, co-curricular activities and general human interest.

From Patchogue- Medford HS: In less than two academic years, Patchogue-Medford High School staff and students launched an online newspaper and now an online video show.
The 2016-17 school year was marked by the astounding debut of The Red & Black’s online presence, and this year the world is able to watch “Raider TV”, a new weekly video series produced and edited by same award-winning student journalists. The students are thriving with all facets of broadcast journalism, expanding their horizons as multimedia story tellers. They are topical in content, having covered homecoming, school sports, co-curricular activities and general human interest.
“I believe Raider TV has allowed me to grow as a person by providing an outlet in which I can be myself,” said student co-anchor Justin Valverde,” and I'm excited to continue improving our content with each broadcast." Added fellow co-anchor, Stella Wilkins: "Being part of Raider TV has provided me with a glimpse of the importance of news and media in the community and the means to connect with those around me, as well as establish a significant base for my future."
Advisors Alison Mckeough and Michele Sullivan have both worked seamlessly with the students to push them as young journalists, and also build internal awareness and satisfaction for the show amidst students, staff and administration. "We have been very fortunate to have the support of the administration to move forward with the Broadcast venture in the studio with modern equipment,” said Mckeough.
"The energy of the students and the dedication that they demonstrate is inspiring,” said Sullivan. “They are the driving force of Raider TV.”
