Police Seeking Duo in Attempted Walmart Theft

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who police say attempted to steal merchandise from a Long Island Walmart.

According to Suffolk Police, the duo pictured above attempted to steal about $800 worth of merchandise from the Walmart located at 750 Middle Country Road in Middle Island around 6:25 p.m. on Jan. 5.

An employee was able to recover the merchandise from the pair, who fled the store prior to police arrival, police said.
