Road Closures Due To Farmingville Street Fair

On Sunday, Aug. 24, the third annual Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce Street Fair will return to Portion Road.

The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Leeds Blvd. and South Howell Ave., and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. the road will be closed, police said. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

There will be food, entertainment, classic cars, kiddie rides and various vendors specializing in crafts, toys, jewelry, clothing and accessories in addition to a pizza eating contest. For more information, visit the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce website.
